Hollywood's "Extras" have started a wonderfully simple and beautiful Outreach for the Needy called "EXTRA" Cans For The Needy... These Hollywood actors have committed to taking grocery bags on every set to collect the empty cans and bottles... and then hand them over to people in need to return for deposits.

Our Mission EXTRA Cans For The Needy is a dual-purpose program that helps the homeless as well as the environment, while raising awareness of social and environmental issues. Objectives Encourage people to recycle cans and bottles. Encourage people to donate recyclables to the homeless. Increase awareness of homelessness through direct interaction.
