GLOBAL GREEN AT AVALON

Hollywood – February 21, 2007 - Bob and I were at AVALON at noon to set up twelve of the beautiful gold bins that he’s been working on for weeks. They truly are a work of art.

The excitement began that evening with a trip down the “Green” Carpet at the Global Green Oscar Party at AVALON on Wednesday evening with our spokesperson, Sharon Lawrence. But before we even went down the Green Carpet Sharon introduced me to Councilmember Eric Garcetti and Cynthia Ruiz (who, by the way wins the most FABULOUS nails of the weekend award hands down!) both of whom I shared our vision.

As we headed down the Green Carpet, Sharon graciously took my arm as she posed for hundreds of photographers as they all called out, “Sharon, left! Sharon, right! Sharon, over your shoulder…” I was in awe of how she handled it all. Marc was there as well but Bob chickened out. He was so adorable….

MILLION ‘CAN’ MARCH

Sunday April 22, 2007

We are challenging at least one million people across the country to gather up $10.00 in empty cans and bottles that have returns on them and bring them to Earth Day celebrations around the country (and in Canada).

The goal and purpose of the Million "Can" March is two-fold:

The first goal is to raise more awareness for recycling and to make our beautiful mother earth a much greener place to live.

The second goal is to raise $10,000,000.00 in one single day that would go directly to the homeless in the homeland and beyond.

Won't you please join us for this momentous day that many have said will potentially 'change the world.'
